Grand Central
In February 1913, Grand Central Terminal opened its doors to New York residents. This iconic train station is located at 89 East 42nd Street (Park Avenue) and is still the starting point for 750,000 New Yorkers going to work every day. It is the hub of the city: everything comes and goes from Grand Central Terminal.
The building is known as a true landmark, built of marble, with distinctive architecture and beautiful details. Spectacular is the bright green ceiling in the main hall, with images of constellations. In addition, the large central clock is a sight to behold. The whispering gallery is special because the acoustics make even the softest sound audible.
The Grand Central is more than just a train station, there are also numerous stores, restaurants and other amenities in the building.
